The National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame
www.racingmuseum.org
The Museums mission is to interpret the history and convey the excitement of Thoroughbred racing in America to the broadest possible audience. The Museum fosters education and understanding of Thoroughbred racing by providing public access to equine art, artifacts, memorabilia, film, video, books and historical archives. It collects, preserves, researches, interprets and exhibits the entire spectrum of Thoroughbred racing, enhanced by interactive displays. Further, it is the Official National Thoroughbred Racing Hall of Fame honoring Horses, Trainers, and Jockeys. The Museum is 100% handicap accessible and offers a variety of educational and entertaining exhibits throughout the year. One of our favorites is the exclusive tours of the Oklahoma Training Track! Find out why this beautiful and historic site, located across the street from Saratoga Race Course, is a favorite base for leading trainers such as Todd Pletcher and Nick Zito. Our behind the scenes tours, offered in cooperation with the New York Racing Association, are available from June to October. This walking tour covers approximately 1 mile and lasts for 1.5 hours. The cost is $10 for non-members and $5 for members, and includes admission to the Museum after the tour. Sturdy walking shoes are suggested!
