We set up our new tent at Fish Creek and represented the SCTB at the Saratoga Invitational – April 29 – May 1, 2011 and the NYS Championships May 14-15, 2011. This was a first for us and many people stopped by to welcome us and thank us for being there.
We also assisted a lot of people with what there is to do, eat, etc. all around Saratoga!
We would like to send a huge thank you out to two of our volunteers that helped us out May 14 & 15, 2011 - Rebecca DuBois of Capital Region Coffee News and Jessica Pajonk of the Roosevelt Inn & Suites. Thank you for volunteering to staff our booth! We sincerely appreciate it.

Saratoga Springs City Center Expansion

|
The Saratoga Springs City Center expansion construction is coming to a close. The official ribbon cutting ceremony is taking place prior to the start of Saratoga’s Flag Day parade on June 11th at 11: 00 a.m. The majority of work left to be done is on the exterior of the City Center building. Panels are going up to finish off each entry way, along with the glass for the lighted main entry and the new lettering on the canopy. As the interior construction comes to a close, other renovation projects will start. The Main Hall is expected to get an overhaul, with a new sound system in the works, as well as some acoustical upgrades.
On September 11th of this year, the City Center is unveiling a sculpture, made from the steel of the
World Trade Center, named “Tempered by Memory” to commemorate the 10th anniversary of 9/11.
