As we head into the beginning of summer, Saratoga is gearing up for another great conference and racing season. If you have not used the Saratoga Convention and Visitors bureau to assist you with an upcoming event in Saratoga, please let us know when you are coming!  We would not want you to miss out on all the wonderful marketing tools, volunteers, complimentary services, brochures, etc. that we can provide to you and your attendees.  We want to help insure your conference in Saratoga Springs is an outstanding one!      
 
We look forward to seeing you all at the upcoming ESSAE Annual Trade Show here in Saratoga on Thursday, May 31st. It is our pleasure to be hosting this great networking event once again in Saratoga. The Firecracker 4, a four mile road race, is gearing up for their 6th year in Saratoga Springs, and is looking to be their largest race ever.  The 2012 race will take place on Wednesday, July 4th and will feature monetary awards to top finishers and teams,  scholastic, public safety and military team competitions, and will incorporate the USATF Adirondack Club Team Championship.  This is a community event with all fund raising to benefit the athletes and the community. New Megabus Route with Saratoga stop located at Saratoga Casino and Raceway
Megabus started a new daily service which runs between Burlington (VT), Saratoga Springs and New York City. Saratoga Casino and Raceway has been designated as the only stop for the new Saratoga route. 
 
The pick-up and drop-off point will be located near the South Entrance to the Casino, off Crescent Avenue. This is the same location that CDTA stops on their route. A Megabus sign will be posted so that guests have easy visibility of the location. The Saratoga service will be offered nonstop seven days a week. 
 
Trips from Saratoga to Burlington are scheduled to leave at noon with trips from Saratoga to New York City scheduled to leave at 7 p.m. Megabus passengers will be able to park-and-ride, leaving their vehicle in any of the Saratoga Casino and Raceway lots.
 
Tickets are offered online only and are very affordable. The Megabus ticketing system always offers the first seat for $1.00, then increasing gradually with the maximum ticket price at $19. Visit www.megabus.com for complete schedule and ticketing details.


Boca Bistro to Open in May

The owners of DZ Restaurants, David and Roslyn Zecchini, announced a projected opening date of May 25th for their fourth restaurant, Boca Bistro; a Spanish Bistro & Tapas Bar. 
 
Boca Bistro joins the family of DZ Restaurants which includes Chianti Il Ristorante and Forno Bistro in Saratoga Springs and Pasta Pane in Clifton Park. 
 
Located at 384 Broadway in Saratoga Springs, construction of Boca Bistro began in March and can be followed online on the Boca Bistro Facebook page along with the DZ Restaurants Twitter feed, Flickr Page and Pinterest Board.
