The Adirondack Museum, one of the largest museums in upstate New York, is the place for Adirondack visitors to deepen their appreciation for what's special about the region and to explore how people have lived, worked, traveled, and played in the Adirondacks from the 19th century right up until today. The Adirondack Museum offers 65,000 square feet of exciting exhibitions housed in twenty-two modern and historic buildings. Interactive, hands-on activities abound making the stories of the Adirondacks and its people highly engaging for children as well as adults. Open 10am to 5pm daily from late May to mid-October.

The National Museum of Dance & Hall of Fame was established in 1986 and is the only museum in the nation dedicated to professional dance. Located in the former Washington Bath House-a spacious, airy 1918 Arts and Crafts style building in the Saratoga Spa State Park. The museum houses a number of exhibits with rotating exhibits as well as two permanent exhibits, and a children's wing with costumes, videos, books, a stage to perform and an interactive space just for kids.

Admission to the National Museum of Racing and Hall of Fame is always a winning ticket. Interactive programs, the Horse Play! Children's Gallery, rare memorabilia, a fine equine art collection, a behind-the-scenes tour of Saratoga's "Oklahoma" training track, and more tell the colorful story of three centuries of Thoroughbred racing. During the Race Meet, the Museum is open daily from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. The Museum is closed New Year's Day, Easter, Thanksgiving, and Christmas.
