FREE ABC LAW TRAINING

The Empire State Restaurant and Tavern Association (ESTRA) is pleased to announce that they are teaming up with and Tech Valley Security, Southern Wine & Spirits and the Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs and the Saratoga Convention and Tourism Bureau to offer the invaluable and sought after training titled “The ABC’s of the Alcoholic Beverages Control Law”. The training, developed with the assistance of the State Liquor Authority, provides owners and managers of licensed premises with the tools and information they need to comply with the Alcoholic Beverage Control law.

It is well accepted that compliance with the law is the best way to protect the public, our communities and our businesses. This program will give you, as an owner or manager, an understanding of your duties and responsibilities under the law. But this training is more than a mere listing of the laws you must follow. In addition to explaining the State Liquor Authority’s expectations of licensees, the program provides detailed guidance on the steps that you can take to ensure you operate in compliance with the law.

This comprehensive training, not offered before in Saratoga, will be delivered by Bob Benedetto (NY State Liquor Authority - Retired), Scott Wexler, Executive Director of the Empire State Restaurant & Tavern Association and Shawn May Esq. of Linnan and Fallon, an attorney with extensive experience in SLA related cases.  It will take place on Thursday, May 28, 2015 between the hours of 9:30 AM and 12:45 PM at the Holiday Inn Saratoga Springs, 232 Broadway, Saratoga Springs, New York. Parking will be available on site. Refreshments will be provided.
